Commercial Industrial Division (CID)

  • NAREB's Commercial Industrial Division has a strategic focus of being an educational and training resource for its members who have a direct interest in the commercial real estate industry. It is through education and training that members create and expose themselves to wealth building opportunities as this division continues to harvest seasoned real estate experts in a segment of real estate that is undeserved by African Americans and minorities alike.  

Homebuyers Counseling (HC)

  • Homebuyer Counseling is an affiliate that is composed of REALTIST members who are committed to providing pre- and post-counseling to homebuyers and prospective homebuyers. Additionally, training and support to NAREB members about the home buying training process. 

NAREB Investment Division (NID)

  • NAREB Investment Division (NID), is an independent affiliate of NAREB; founded in 1985 by then NAREB President, T. L. “Thom” Holmes and then NAREB Public Affairs Committee Chair, Ray Carlisle. The NID mission is “The development and promotion of policies and programs that foster sustainable economic and social growth and well-being for Realtist members and the clients and communities they traditionally serve”. 

National Society of Real Estate Appraisers (NSREA)

  •  The National Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Inc. (NSREA) was organized in the state of California in 1956. Our members are in most of the larger cities in the USA, most of which are licensed real estate practitioners. Many have obtained advanced college or university training and are well known as appraisers in their communities. Because of the fact that our membership has worked and lived primarily in urban areas of the cities of our nation, we are recognized as being highly knowledgeable as to the values of properties in and around such areas. Our re-certification program is based on continuing education and peer review. We are required to complete the re-certification program so that our skills are kept up to date.. We have a working and meaningful relationship with other professional appraisal organizations, creating an atmosphere for the exchange of ideas and procedures. Our symbols identify appraisers who will render fair and complete valuations, giving full consideration to all factors and circumstances. 

Real Estate Management Brokers Institute (REMBI)

  •  This division of NAREB  is composed of real estate professionals whose day-to-day focus is property management. 
  • The mission of REMBI is:
  • To unite those “REALTIST” specializing in the management of income producing properties in order to enhance and better the professional real estate manager.
  • To train candidates for membership and provide educational training seminars for upgrading and specialization of the real estate management profession through the use of and dissemination of educational materials, paraphernalia, seminars, lectures, and any other means as it may deem proper.
  • To license and certify it’s members the right to use the terms or symbols.

NAREB Sales Division (NSD)

 

  • The Sales Division of NAREB is one of the largest affiliates. Organized as independent 501(c) 3 organizations within the broader NAREB network, the sales division is composed of members representing agents and brokers who are principally involved in real estate sales. The primary purpose of the sales division is to assist in the personal and professional development courses such as our National REO Certification Designation, Residential Sales Specialist Designation, and Relocation Services along with a myriad of other courses.

United Developers Council (UDC)

  •  The United Developers Council (UDC), an Affiliate of NAREB, mission is to promote the inclusion and representation of minorities within the planning and development of community development projects located in high-density urban areas where its members are actively engaged in development and brokerage of real estate. UDC activities include, but are not limited to promoting education, economic development & social entrepreneurs in urban neighborhoods.  UDC provides training on current development trends. UDC promotes transforming communities through partnerships with various municipalities, local universities, community development groups, faith-based organizations, lending Institutions, and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI).   

NAREB’s Contractor Division (NCD)

  •  This division of NAREB solicits and unites licensed contractors in order to service the building and rehab needs of REALTIST members and others engaged in property sales and management. This division seeks and recommends opportunities to the membership that expands and grows their current businesses. Members of the contractors division adhere to all local and national building codes as well as engage in the highest ethical standards.  

Women's council (WC)

  • The Women's Council of the NAREB (WC of NAREB) contributes to the growth and professional enhancement of its members and the communities we serve. Women's Council (WC) also plays a viable support role in our parent organization NAREB as its strongest affiliate. Many of our members are very active in NAREB's other affiliate organizations. The Women's Council offers financial literacy education to the public, education scholarships to youth, leadership designations for our members, down payment assistance, and exchange of ideas through networking.
